suffering and dreams

life is a transient thing and it feels nothing for our hopes, our dreams or desires. it is a callous thing that nurtures or tramples the seeds of our existance. "life is hard" "life will crush you" we never truly understand the meanings of these things until we feel pain, the buddha was truely in tune with the universe when he said "life is suffering" we suffer eternally hoping that those we suffer for, will notice us, that they too will care as we do. we look for someone to share in our suffering, hoping beyond measure that in sharing that suffering, in sharing that pain with that person, that the pain will lessen. that in sharing our hopes and desires, our crushable dreams, that they will preserve them, that they will treasure our dreams as we treasure them. that in treasuring someone else, in sharing our dreams, it will lessen the pain and suffering of life. the constant hope that, with love, life can cease to be suffering.
